Sunday around the World
We had the experience of participating in a local church service today. Jordan led worship with our friend Isaiahs and we sang in English and Spanish. It's always such a great example of our global God and His universal church. I pray that our team leaves today with a better understanding of God's heart for the world.
Josh and Eric gave their testimonies and did a great job as well. Again, we are reminded that God meets all of us exactly where we are at and transforms our lives for His glory.
Dan spoke and gave a great illustration of coming to a banquet. In Luke 14 Jesus tells the story of a banquet. We were reminded that we need to be obedient, like the servant who went out and invited everyone to come feast at the table. Who have I invited recently? Who have you invited? We also can learn from the people who cam to the banquet and listened to God. Am I listening today? Are you listening? And we are satisfied only with God through His grace and mercy.
Our travels were safe last night. We are all a little tired, but nothing that a siesta can't fix! Thank you for your continued prayers. We have received word that our 'delayed baggage' will arrive late tonight. Please pray with us that this in fact happens as there are items needed for our ministry tommorrow!
We appreciate you and are happy that we can communicate with you. Please continue to pray for us!
